The Climate Initiative is a collaborative effort by Australia's 15 Rural Research and Development Corporations (RDCs) to address the challenges of climate change and ensure the resilience of farming, fishing, and forestry industries.

The CRRDC is proud to present this Climate Initiative Investment Plan, outlining a program of work which starts with the biggest opportunities to work together across primary production and scales up into a comprehensive approach that involves government support, industry support through levies, and private sector support.

This plan represents a commitment from fifteen RDCs to work more closely together to address challenges that affect all of our industries and require solutions that are greater than our combined capacity. It recognises that success comes from placing producers’ needs as the central driving force for investment and then building investment partnerships that can flourish and be sustained for many years.
